Yes, There Is Insurance For Golf Carts– Unfortunately, even the most comprehensive auto insurance policies generally won’t cover a golf cart accident or anyone injured in one.  Certain communities require you have some type of liability coverage for your golf cart in the event you damage property or cause someone bodily harm.

Golf cart policies do not require Personal Injury coverage so its generally less expensive to insure than a low-speed vehicle or LSV which can exceed speeds of 20 mph. In addition, low-speed vehicles would require Personal Injury coverage and in effect would have to be added to your existing auto policy resulting in a high cost of insurance versus a Golf cart.
